How to configure JDK/JRE in your Laptop

Step 3: Under Java Download select JDK 17,Among the among 3 OS select windows if your laptop is window
Step 4: Under in Windows OS tab,Click on X64 Installer Link
Step 5: Once after downloading double click on the downloaded .exe file
Step 6: Note down the JDK location and click on the next button, next button and close button
Step 7: AT this location your JDK is finally installed C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17\bin
Step 8: Now do the right click on THIS PC and click on the Properties button
Step 9: Advanced system settings: Click on 'Advanced system settings' on the left side.
Step 10: Environment Variables: In the System Properties window, click on the 'Environment Variables' button.
Step 11: Under Environment Variables click on new
Step 12: Enter any variable name and copy it. Paste it in the JDK location same as shown below
Step 13: Repeat the same step for System variable as shown below
Step 14: Click on Ok button
Step 15:Open the command prompt on your laptop as shown below
Step 16: Type “java –version” and press enter, if you are getting the java version in the console output then congratulations is successful.
